PRIMARY FUNCTION: Position directs, plans, implements, and coordinates the District’s Lighthouse STEAM Magnet initiative that is funded through the Magnet Schools Assistance Program. Position is responsible for project implementation plan to include tracking grant requirements, creating/approving budgets, meeting timelines, and achieving grant objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education Level: Master’s degree in educational leadership or related field.
Preferred: Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in Educational
Leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Manages and implements the MSAP grant and ensures compliance with grant requirements.
- Creates, maintains, and updates the Lighthouse STEAM Magnet School project implementation plan, timelines, and milestones.
- Works in collaboration with school, central personnel, businesses, and community members for the implementation, support, and success of the Lighthouse STEAM Magnet School program.
- Responsible to ensure the implementation of the Quality of Project Design components and that they are operating effectively.
- Maintains and approves the MSAP budget. Reviews, approves, revises, and submits budgets to align with the needs of the schools and established objectives.
- Provides guidance and leadership in the areas of MSAP Professional Development, Enrollment Management, Curriculum & Instruction, Family Engagement, and business/community partners.
- Conducts program observation/evaluation to determine effectiveness of program implementation and recommends revisions to ensure established goals, objectives, and measures are met.
- Establishes process for continuous improvement of the Lighthouse STEAM Magnet School program and work towards creating and maintaining long-term support.
- Plans and leverages MSAP personnel and resources strategically.
- Collects and compiles information to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial and performance reporting requirements.
- Coordinates and facilitates the hiring of all grant funded positions.
- Performs other duties as necessary for the effectiveness of the organization.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Incumbents will receive an annual contract. The work calendar will be 250 days. Salary will be determined based on level of certification and allowable experience. Exempt. Position is MSAP Grant Funded: ends March 31, 2026.
