PRIMARY FUNCTION:  Provides support to the School Nutrition Program [SNP] by assisting with school level support to the foodservice operations to ensure that Federal, State, and Local standards are achieved. Including but is not limited to - staff training and development, food preparation, food service, sanitation and safety, recordkeeping, organization, and troubleshooting.  Review meal management production records to ensure accuracy of meals that are recorded and served and retain records on file for Federal/State audits.

SALARY SCHEDULE:  Professional Support (PS-5)

WORK DAYS: 200

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational experience, with an academic major or are of concentration in food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, hotel/restaurant management, or business.

 Incumbents will be considered “at will.” Appropriate pay will be determined based on the Grade as determined by Human Resources and allowable experience. The work calendar will be 200 days.
