Dean of Upper Grades (6-12) Savannah Classical Academy

Savannah Classical Academy Charter School is a Locally Authorized K-12 Public Charter school and operates autonomously from SCCPSS.

 

Due to a vacancy created by retirement, Savannah Classical Academy (SCA) is seeking highly skilled candidates for this position. Ideally, the selected candidate’s employment will begin this school year and will work with the current Dean of Upper Grades for the remainder of the school year to ensure a smooth transition to the 2025-2026 school year.

 

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Dean is a member of the CEO's leadership team and is responsible for duties related to academic programs and operational practices. Provides direct support for:

REPORTS TO: CEO

SALARY SCHEDULE: Salary will be based on the assistant principal scale.

WORK DAYS: 200 days

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Education Level: Four-year college degree from an accredited college or university with teaching certification. Eligible for Leadership Certification
  1. Experience, Skill, and Certification: 

Preferred: Experience working with children in a school setting as a classroom teacher.
